Where melodic techno meets melancholy soul: WOODKIN’s sound

WOODKIN – the new project from Mollono.Bass and MAZ’N – traces its roots back to 2024. What began with a remix of MAZ’N’s “Lost On You” by Mollono.Bass quickly sparked the idea of stepping onto the stage together.

From their very first shows, it was clear this was more than a simple collaboration. The intricate, driving productions of Mollono.Bass merged seamlessly with the haunting depth and expressive power of MAZ’N’s voice. Out of this alchemy, WOODKIN was born, a live duo whose performances are as captivating as they are immersive.

WOODKIN stand for a singular live experience: a sonic journey that moves fluidly between melodic techno, indie dance, and dreamy soundscapes. Throughout 2025, WOODKIN have already lit up renowned stages: from Springfestival in Graz, Ritter Butzke in Berlin, Immergut Festival, Fusion and A2J in London to headline shows in Berlin and Rostock, and of course the iconic 3000Grad Festival. Everywhere they perform, audiences are drawn into their magnetic blend of rhythm and emotion.

Now, September 2025 marks a milestone: the release of their self-titled debut album WOODKIN. A record that captures the essence of their live chemistry, translating it into a studio format and laying the foundation for the next chapter of this unique artistic journey.
