With The Blue Hour, Pyrame brings us a compilation that is both melancholic and majestic, released through his label THISBE Recordings. Every track in this VA compilation feels like a different phase of twilight, starting with Dominik Marz’s atmospheric "Bura’s Hymn," which gently lifts us off the ground. As the sky deepens in color, Radial Gaze & Balam’s "Foreclosed" invites us into a groovy dance, while World Wild Web’s "Extase" leaves us in a strange, otherworldly dimension. Agle’s "Sahel" and Philip Lawns’ "Johns" provide contrast with desert-like breezes and rhythmic vitality. By the time Volta Cab’s "Krasnodar Nights" wraps things up, The Blue Hour feels like a completed cycle, a journey through sound as rich as the transitions of the sky itself.
