There’s something beautifully human about MRZ’s Right Here. Across four cuts, the French artist redefines the relationship between nostalgia and innovation, merging the warmth of classic house with the boldness of the current underground wave.
From the very first note of “What You Do”, the emotional architecture is clear—lush chords, a fluid 303 bassline, and soulful fragments that guide the listener toward intimacy. “Break Out” lifts the tempo, letting breakbeats and piano stabs speak the language of optimism. “Don’t Look Back” captures the electricity of a 90s dancefloor—those ecstatic chords and vocal swells feel timeless. The EP concludes with “Something”, a hypnotic house anthem layered with spoken-word poetry and soft, rolling basslines.

MRZ is a DJ and producer who likes to make people dance and smile. His selection inspired by the 90's, varies between house and techno, through soulful house, deep house, garage house, funky house, UK garage, French touch, jungle and acid house. He has already had the opportunity to play in clubs and festivals in France, USA, Japan, the UK, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, the Netherlands, Hungary, Switzerland, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
