CLOSE PROXIMITY presents Pure Ascendance [MINITEL]

With a stellar 2024 behind them, MINITEL enters 2025 with an evocative release courtesy of CLOSE PROXIMITY and a remix from Frankfurt standout MARUWA.

The duo CLOSE PROXIMITY—made up of Frank Brady and Demack—came together in late 2024 with a clear artistic intent: to sculpt heartfelt, progressive electronic music shaped by the DNA of early house, trance, and techno. Their first offering for MINITEL is a confident statement of that vision.

“Pure Ascendance” floats into Balearic territory with a groovy low-end and sparkling melodies. The track’s piano-driven optimism and glowing vocal touches recall the halcyon spirit of '90s rave culture.

“Acid is My DNA” heads straight into trance-inspired territory, blending acid lines with shimmering pads and a climactic build that’s perfect for closing sets.

On remix duties, MARUWA flips “Pure Ascendance” into a fierce, percussion-heavy cut with dubby accents and tribal force. It’s a driving, hypnotic version primed for peak-time floors.
