Carlita joins cast of The Streets, Andrew Weatherall, Surgeon with new ‘fabric Presents’ mix/compilation

 Carlita, the Turkish-Italian DJ and producer at the confluence of music and fashion (British Vogue just called her “one of fashion’s favorite DJs). fabric Presents Carlita is out April 11 via fabric Records, and will seat her among culturally iconic names in dance music who have graced the 25-year series like The Martinez Brothers, Andrew Weatherall, Surgeon, The Streets, Confidence Man, and many more. 

The mix/compilation will come alongside two new originals from Carlita. “Raf” supported by Billboard, Resident Advisor, Mixmag, along with Carlita’s new “Stop Now,” is nestled among storied house and techno juggernauts such as Butch, Alex Metric, and Paco Osuna, as well as rising underground producers Prunk, Toman, Alinka, and more. Let me know if you're interested covering the project?

Outside of clubs, festivals, and the studio, you can find Carlita on the cover of Vogue Italia, playing Alix Earle’s Halloween party, exclusive parties for Louis Vuitton, Versace, and Fendi, hosting performances from Heron Preston and Patrick Mason at her own multi-sensory Senza Fine parties, opening for Dua Lipa, and collaborating with Audemars Piguet to show off her album. Most recently, she announced she was performing a headlining DJ set at the Eiffel Tower.

Carlita (real name Carla Frayman) comes from a background of musical mastery, having played classical cello for the Royal Academy of Music in London in her earlier years (after learning to play piano at age 3). Since her earliest memories, Frayman has never stopped developing her musical talent, picking up more instruments, learning music theory, and after university (Northwestern), saving up enough money to pursue it full time. She hasn’t stopped chasing her dreams and is now playing high-profile DJ slots (check out her Cercle set at Cinecittà in Rome), and has quickly risen as a producer
