The rising Lebanese- Miami based DJ/producer’s launch of Manifest Records, her own label, features an electrifying tech house track, ‘Movimiento’, which invites listeners to reflect on the journey of metamorphosis as an artist amidst living in a melting pot of cultures.
Originally from the small town of Barinas in Venezuela, Amal Nemer has seamlessly woven her Lebanese heritage into Miami’s vibrant and competitive electronic tech house music scene. Following the success of her first European tour in addition to the release of her new track ‘Burning’, with In/Rotation, a unique platform created by Insomniac Records, and ‘Don’t Stop The Music’, by Glasgow Underground, Amal is now set to release her latest track, ‘Movimiento’, through the launch her own label, Manifest Records. Amal created Movimiento as a tribute to the divergence of two cultures that are close to her heart. With the combination of the deep tech bass line and the rhythmic salsa beats, this track brings forth a magnetic energy that attracts different personalities and adds a layer of versatility to the listeners ear. Amal Nemer will be hosting the label launch party for Manifest Records on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at MODE MIAMI from 10 PM – 5 AM. The dynamic artist finally decided to move forward with her own label to help fuel her desire of pursuing artistic freedom, especially within the culturally eccentric industry. Through this label, Amal aspires to one day create a community for artists where there the limit to experimenting with eclectic sounds and styles simply does not exist.
With the fusion blend of her Venezuelan roots and Lebanese heritage, Amal Nemer has created a unique presence in Miami’s lively electronic tech house scene where she has redefined the essence of an “emerging female tech house artist.” Despite her relatively short time within the competitive industry, Amal has scaled as a female rising artist since 2021 and has released music on distinguished labels including Insomniac Records, Moon Harbour, Glasgow Underground, Nervous Records, Made in Miami, and Farris Wheel and found her way into the top 100 of BeatPort with instant hits such as ‘Me Gusta, ‘Yo Tengo Los Poderes’ and continued the streak with the release of two new tracks this summer, ‘Burning’ and ‘Don’t Stop the Music’.
In Spanish, Amal means “Hope” and “Hard Work”. The dynamic powerhouse truly lives up to her name and each track is encompassed with hopes of her audience being able to resonate with her emotions, especially stemming from the ability to manifest. Her newly launched party Manifest, which debuted at Miami’s 1-800-Lucky in March 2024, embodies this outlook on life, creating a space of escapism, hope, love, and above all, dance.
